Hi! That’s us in the photo: my awesome mom, Isobella and me, Ruth (Having my cuppa for the day.) A very important Pringle Gifts team member is missing from the photo, my amazing husband, Darryn (in his words “I don’t do photo’s.” lol!) 

 

All three of us have always been very creative, making all types of products. From sewing handbags to doorstops, designing fridge magnets to license discs and making breadboards to skateboards. Yup, what a mix! 

We have attended loads of markets and learnt a lot through the years. 

 

In 2019 an opportunity came up for us to open our own gift shop in Pringle Bay (Western Cape, South Africa) and we grabbed it. That’s where the adventures of Pringle Gifts started. 

We opened our doors for the first time on 4 October 2019 and wow what a roller coaster! From covid hitting us at the beginning of 2020 to where we are now. 

 

We’re still going strong, thanks to the amazing local clientele, holiday makers and tourists. Owning and operating our own shop, as well as making a lot of the products, is what makes ours a unique shopping experience. 

 

We also stock a wide range of creations made by locals. From sterling silver jewellery crafted by our local silver smith, Jessica Jane Jewellery, to hand crafted fairy folk by our local textile artist, Marche, and many more.
